• In 2019, Kunle Poly was accused of being responsible for the disorganization that happened at an APC rally in Lagos State. Kunle was rumored to have been involved in a rift with fellow NURTW chieftain, MC Oluomo. However, in an interview, he claimed not to be responsible for the issues that caused the crises that happened at the APC rally.
Kunle Poly claims that he and MC Oluomo get along very well as friends and are both happy under the leadership of the NURTW leader, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede.
• In 2022, Kunle Poly along with Adekanbi Wahab were charged with murder. The Magistrate revealed that Kunle Poly was to be charged for accessory while Adakanbi Wahab would face trial for joining an unlawful society. However, the two were later served bail of N1 million but would still be called to court until the final ruling.
